if you look at the charger plug there is a small switch it can either be held down with the cover off or with it on. It should read you between 48 and 50 volts DC with that switch in that switch will keep you from charging the batteries if it is faulty. These chargers are really rather simple and golf cart King has the motherboards cheaper than anywhere else that you can buy them. Checkwith golf cart King out of Austin Texas. You can find them on the internet. It's kind of hard to say what could be going on because they're so many components or simple little things that could be going wrong. The first thing I would be checking is the solenoid. Its a solenoid checks out then it could go it could be your controller. Then again it could be in the throttle assembly which is mounted underneath the floorboard. I need to know whether it's a 36 or 48 volt cart. You can get a freedom chip for about five bucks that would give it more speed or torque depending on which you're looking for. If you have money to spend you could upgrade your controllers as well as your batteries as well as your battery cables. Did you use generic ink carts? If yes ink has stained the led control. Try to clean it by help of a towel. In some cases this will help. If not, the led control needs replacing!
Another solution:
Did you answer the question given by printer when changing the cart?

You might take all carts out, unplug machine from power outlet. replug to power. wait until machine demands carts. Place cart in and answer question.
