Switch the speaker connectors and see if the ones that work on the right work on the left. if they do then your amp is ok and the problem is either the wiring for the right side or the right side speakers. If the speakers don't work when you try this swap, then you have a bad channel onn your amp and will need a bench mechanic to fix it, (if you could find one). also make sure that you have a signal to both the right and the left, this can be tested by again doing a swap, take the left feed and put it in the side that is now working and if you hear sound then the inpurs are ok

Avr250. Right speaker half working

There could be a wire broken off from a terminal on the speaker. The capacitor that goes to that speaker could be defective. Lastly, the speaker itself could be defective. Those are the only three reasons why one of those speakers are not working. None of the repairs are that difficult to do, if you are a do it yourself type of person.

2005 freightliner columbia. replacing factory radio. All wiring is grey :-( Anyone have a diagram showing what pin is what?

Holding the harness and looking at it as it would plug into the back of the stereo you have 8 wires in the top half of the harness and 4 in Tue bottom. Working left to right on the top half first is the rear left speaker, front left speaker, front right speaker and rear right speaker. The positive speaker wires are on top the negatives are on bottom.

For the lower half of the harness you have 1 wire in the top row and 3 in the bottom. The one on top is the switched wire to turn the stereo on and off with the ignition. The bottom row from left to right is ground, and 2 constant power wires for stereo memory you can use left right or both to connect to your stereo's memory lead. I hope this helps I was looking to and had to map the wires using some educated guessing and a multi-meter.

Sub works, left speaker works nothing out of right speaker, switched speakers around then right plays but no left??? computer, I-pod- symptoms consistant???

I had a same problem.Left speaker with no voice.Fallowing solution worked for me.
Disconnect the sub's electric first.Loosen 4 screws ant pull out the control unit slowly.Be careful, it is tight. Then you will see the big aluminium cooler.Carefully squeeze the two parallel arms between a finger and thumb to bend and get closer them about half mm.Then connect the plugs and play an mp3 to control. If it is ok, replace the control unit and tighten the secrews.

The right speaker on my Bose Companion 3 works for a while then just stops working. I haven't changed anything on my computer setup. I checked and the plugs are inserted tightly.

Can you hear anything from it right now, such as scratching noise or something, if you can hear something, then check the audio input cables, or the output to the right speaker, try turning it or something.
If that method didn't works, then possibly there's two conditions:
1. Your right speakers burned, try replacing it with the new ones.
2. Your power board half damaged, the right channel is damaged or something.Maybe the IC's burned or maybe just some minor electronics parts that is not working properly.

No sound will come out the speakers until amp has sat on for half hour or so. After waiting, I have to flip through sound settings. Usually, the 'unplugged', or 'orchestra' setting will emit sound first....

check all speaker wires on the back and on the back of the speakers.if there is a short the amp will go in protect mode.
tap on it lightly and see if it comes on,there may be bad soldering on the pc board
