Question about Apple iPod touch
You can remove an app from your iPod touch in the same way that you re-order items on the home screen: tap an icon and hold it down until the icons begin shaking.
When this happens, every icon will have a black X in its left corner. Tap the X to remove the app from the device.
This will not remove the app from your computer; it will still be on your desktop and can be added again later.
Delete it for Good To completely delete the app, you'll need to remove it from your computer's hard drive, too.
To do this, go to the Applications menu in the left-hand tray in iTunes.
On the screen that lists the apps on your hard drive, single click the app you want to delete. You can then right-click on it and choose delete or hit the delete key on the keyboard.
You'll be asked to confirm the deletion. If you really want to remove it forever, confirm. Otherwise, cancel and let the app live to be used another day.
Remember, though, if you delete the app and decide you want it back, you'll have to download it again and, if it costs money, pay for it a second time.
