Screen on Sony lap top fades to grey Touch pad and mouse not responsive

as for the lines its natural the camera is picking up the the pixels flickering. as for the mouse and your screen turning gray its either one of the following.

1. Motherboard is going bad or contacts inside are not centered(which means the mousepad isnt sitting on the sensor that picks up your finger)

2.you have disabled the mousepad via the FN keys on your keyboard

as for the grayness im not quite sure as i cannot see it via the video.

hope this helps
George :)

Mouse has gone crazy, you click on arrow and it will keep on clicking,it start draging while crossing web page,it highlite every thing blue

Try booting up in safe mode then Restore your system back to a date and time before you came across that web page and started having problems.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Select a Restore Point (date and time) that is before you started having problems. You don't have to use the restore point that is shown just select option to see more restore points. When System Restore finishes, reboot your computer.Report back and let us know if it is solved or not.

I have a sony viao and trying to do a recovery on it want booth are start in normal are safe mode

If you have not burned a set of recovery disks, I believe when you boot up you can get to the recovery partition. During the boot with the splash screen on (the thing that says VIAO in the begining), start pressing the F10 or F12 key. This should bring up the boot options and allow you to boot from the recovery partition and restore the computer back to factory settings. If you burned the disks for the computer, just place disk one in the drive and boot.

Hope this helps and it was what your were looking for.

Smoke from exhaust when start ls400 model1991 lexus color of smoke is gray it ends few second

the smoke is from engine oil, it is caused by leaking valve seals , after the engine is shut down for the day oil is leaking past the valve seals and getting into the cylinders then when you start up the engine the oil is burned off, this is a common problem, and there is a couple of things you can do to help the problem with out taking the engine apart and replacing the seals, try this first at your next oil change add some Restore to the engine oil it will soften the seals and give them a little more life, if this does not cure the problem after a few 100 miles then you will need to have the seals replaced, and this is a costly repair, but you could just live with the smoke it wont hurt any thing just keep an eye on the oil.

Every time i re boot my asus eee 700, the mouse sticks on the same thing and keeps saying moxilla - problem loading, the only way to get it working is to take it back to factory settings, please help,...

if you are using windows xp operating system.. you may boot in safe mode( press and hold F8 while the computer boots) and select safe mode and when you are asked whether you want to use system restore, select the last restore point created on your computer and follow the on screen instructions and restore your system to a previous date's configuration. if that doesn't solve, update your virus scanner and make a complete scan.. some trojan might be the culprit..
