Question about Hotpoint Washing Machines
Simon, i would take a guess on the sump being blocked up.
remove rear inspection panel, you will see the drain pump on the left with a black hose coming out of it going up and attaching onto the drum by a clamp.
tilt the machine forward and put a basin underneath. using pair of vice grips remove that clamp and pull the sump down and off. hopefully this will be full of debris, clean out and put back together.
should do the trick.
great old machine that, wont get one like it again.
