Question about Vivitar ViviCam 7500I Digital Camera

1 Answer

Recently, when I connected my Vivicam 7500i to my pc, nothing happened on screen and when I disconnected the camera it would not switch on and the battery seemed to be dead. Is there something wrong with the camera?

Base from the description of your problem Yes something is wrong with the camera internally that is causing it to drain the battery power even without using it. Something on the battery contacts is wrong , by the way you can try first to use a new battery for this camera just to make sure its not a battery issue also but if using a different battery and still same problem the camera is bad and needs servicing.

Camera, the charger cord broke, got a new one, not sure if it's charging cause it always shows the MSDC on the screen when I turn it on. What has happen to my camera? It is a Vivitar ViviCam x029

Are you charging it by connecting to a computer? The MSDC message says that the camera is connected to a computer. What happens if you disconnect it and then turn it on?
