Question about Apple iPod nano

1 Answer

I have a CD that contains a number of MP3 files I would like to upload to my iPod via iTunes. How do I do that? I previously used iTunes to upload songs from Music CDs to my iPod. All I had to do was put the CD into the drive, connect the iPod to my laptop (it runs Windows) and launch iTunes. Then on iTunes i can "see" the list of songs. I tried to do the same this with the CD full of MP3 files but the list of files wouldn't show up on iTunes. Why is that?

If you open iTunes with the CD in the drive and click File - Add folder to library/Add file to library you should be able to find the CD containing the MP3's from there. This will then add them to your iTunes library and you can put them on your iPod by dragging them to your iPod when it is connected in iTunes.

Somebody copy songs to my ipod nano /and the songs appear on the compter when you plug it in but it willnot down load on my ipod nano

Sounds like they did not use a iTunes to copy the songs to the iPod.
iPods/Phones/Pads, etc require iTunes to create a sort of file that tells the iPod where the music file is located at on the mp3 player.
So if they just plugged it in via usb and drag and dropped mp3 files over then there is no file to tell the iPod where they are.
So you'll need to drag those music files off of your iPod back onto a computer and then use iTunes to import the songs into iTunes and sync your iTunes library to your iPod.

How to load audio cd that's mp3 readt to a ipod

you can use Itunes to convert all Mp3's to an Ipod Format that's the only best and sfest way to prevent any corruption to the files and to the Ipod itself.

Once you installed Itunes on your PC, search all the Mp3's to have it sync to the Itune program conenct your Ipod Itunes will detect the Ipod and ask if you would like to sync your device "ipod" with Itunes I suggest you select no do not sync the ipod to youe Itunes any changes on the Itunes when you sync your Ipod will also change the way you have your Ipod setting. once the Audi Files are detected by Itunes you can drag all the music you like to your Ipod's Name on the Left side it should show once you connect your Ipod this is the only way you can upload Mp3 files to your Ipod if you don't use Itunes the Audio File may be installed in your Ipod but may not run, Apple has a different Format this is the reason why you need Itunes.

How to play mp3 song from my computer to ipod shuffle wihout using itunes?

You may try this ipod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It's much easier to use than iTunes. It can also help you manage multiple iPods on one computer or manage iPod on multiple computers, even copy music and video from iPod back to computer or iTunes. So you will not lose your iPod files even though you switch to a new iTunes library. My friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well.

Ipod won't sync

An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. once you got a new iTunes library or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can upload music and video from the new iTunes to your iPod. But this way will overwrite the originial files on iPod with the new iTunes. You may try this iPod transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload music and video. It will not erase your original iPod files. It's safe and works pretty well for me. http://www.ipod-transfer-copy.com/ipod-transfer-mediawidget.html

Cant get music on Ipod

Apple, the maker of the Ipod, requires you to use "iTunes" software to upload, transfer, and buy songs for your iPod mini. The software installation cd should come with your iPod, if not, you can download it at www.apple.com then going to downloads.

Hope this helps, have a great day! ^_^

IVE JUST BOUGHT A LAPTOP,IVE GOT MY ITUNES ON IT AND IT WONT LET ME COPY ANY OF MY MUSIC ONTO DISC.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I hope this helps

Uploading music

Well first of all, all music purchased from iTunes is in mp4 format, not mp3. You will have to convert you music to mp3 format for it to work. The retail version of nero, works well for that. Another option is to burn your music to cd, then reimport it into your music library, from the cd, as mp3. You'll have to change some setting though if you go that route.
