Question about Televison & Video
You may try a disk cleaner (EX: DvdDr) and see if it is related to the lens on the laser. If that doesn't work, I know for a fact that Apex dvd players (yes they are CHEAP) will play any burned dvd you throw at it. The Apex dvd doesn't look fancy but it's one of those cheap solutions to watching back-up dvds!
