Question about Computers & Internet
Many programs often remian in a 'packed' form until they are run, at which time they are unpacked into memory or into a temporary storage on your hard drive. The error you are getting is basically saying that something is preventing the software from being unpacked. The specific cause off this is difficult to determine. Since you are getting the message on multiple programs I would suggest you try disabling any security software you have e.g. anti-virus, anti-spyware etc. to see if this is causing the problem. If this is the case then use a different security program (free ones are AVG, Avast, Zone Alarm). Also, make sure the date on your PC is correct because sometimes this can cause problems with some programs.
