It sounds like somehow the pump has a crack in it. This will do that if water was left in it and it froze. How cold does your cellar get

Water pours out from washer

Most washer i know of have a small hose coming from the base of the tub abd going up to a water pressure switch up in the controls. As the water level rises the pressure inside the tube rises. When the water level gets just right the pressure inside the switch kills the water and starts the motor. So what goes wrong? Trash and sediment such as sand gets into the tubing. Removing the tube from the control and blowing it out in most cases fixes the probo. Note: If you do this you need to pump out any water in the machine before you start another wash cycle. So that the pressure will build once again in the tubing and shut off the washer at the correct fill.

1994 Lexus ES300 overheats after a few miles and water pours out of the radiator coolant reserve tank. Radiator rebuilt 6 months ago. New radiator hoses and other water hoses within last year. Please...

a cracked block or bad gasket can result in compression bleeding into your cooling jacket causing the symptom you describe. a good shop has a tester to determine if there is compression residue in your coolant. that would be a place to start.

My rodeo started shooting steam out i filled it with coolant and during my 1 mile trip home water was pouring out from underneath,i poped hood, cap was on but steam was coming from below engine, help

Hi there,

Hopefully there is a hole in one of the hoses (least expensive).

No matter what, you need to find the source of the leak. A flashlight will be useful.

When the engine is cool, pour water in the radiator. You shouldn't need to run the engine.

When it starts dripping, look for the leak on:
  • The radiator
  • Large hoses leading to and from the radiator
  • Heater hoses (smaller leading to firewall)
  • Water pump (on the engine)
Once you find it, the severity and type of problem will dictated whether to fix or replace the damaged part.

It just stop pouring water

Into the basket? if so you have a kinked hose or clogged water valve screen filter which need to be cleaned out once every three months if your on well water and once a year on city water. if that dosnt fix your problem could be a bad water valve you will need a qualified technician come look at it sorry for the troubles hope this helps.

Air pocket must be in the block and preventing thermostat from opening. how do i bleed that out

remove top hose from rad pour antifreze in hose towards block to prime water pump once pump primed it will throw air out so once rad hose full and coolant running from rad
re conect hose and start car with rad cap off once rad fluid starts to flow in rad fill it up with 50/50 premix and install cap
wait 45 secs or soo then remove cap carefully as not to make a mess now check fluid levels when still running add if required

also make sure if serp belt that is has water pump spinning in right direction

some cars like the cavalier will allow the pump to be spun in reverse burning the bearings out and cooking the water pump

I have a Tobi steamer, The steam is not coming out like it should how to I unclog the hose? I do know its the hose. Thank you

My wife has thrashed hers in her shop and it suddenly stopped steaming. It was about two years old. I managed to fix it. I dont think that the hose or the nozzel will be blocked because they are too wide a diameter. There will probably be a build up of silica or calicum inside. Unscrew the hose where it meets the machine. Remove the blue water tank. If you pour some water down the pipe from the end that you just unscrewed the hose , the water should well up in the depression where the tank sits through the little holes at the bottom. If it doesnt then the blockage is inside which is what I found. I used some decalcification liquid product ICL and poured it in from the hose end and let it soak for 10 minutes. Then I got a thin plastic tube to go in and scrape around as far as you can from the hose end. A thin bottle brush or pipe cleaner would be good. I then used a thin piece of wire to poke around the slits in the other end( depression) Then I emptied it out and continually flushed it through with water and give it a good shake holding your hand over the hose end connection hole. I found that when I emptied the water out , it contained all this silica and residue. I would have got about a teaspoon full in total. After several goes the blockage suddenly cleared itself and I found that suddenly the water was running through freely and welling up as described. I kept doing this until the gritty residue dissipated. You can hold the hose end under the tap and tilt the machine so that the water runs freely out through the depression well. I reassembled it and tried it out. Bingo just like new. Hope this helps. - Grant

A.C. unit is draining on the inside of the house.

There is a drainage and it is stucked with dust, mold etc. Just open metal lid on the wall inside your house, where the coil is installed and where you're changing filters, remove air filter, there at bottom you will see the drainage hole (now under water probably). Rent an air compressor from Home Depot or Lowe's, stick the hose to that hole and turn compressor on. This shall blow the drainage through. After that slowly pour 1-2 cups of Chlorox or Tylex in there, let it stand for 15 minutes, then pour some more water and blow with compressed air again, then flush it with water and blow last time.
Do that at least once in two years, or you gonna have same problem again.

Kenmore top load portable washer, model 110.42722200

i had same prob. at my daughters house, similar model. first time a hose popped off the top(i removed the lid), later i noticed leaks because my son in law was using oxy clean and it foamed over. my advice is, put machine on its side and look for loose/popped off hoses, dont use too much soap or additives, which will trick the water level sensor or just pour over that little drum
