Question about Garden
It sounds like the pump is overheating, this can be caused by a few things. First check the filter for clogging and also while you have the filter casing open take a look at your impeller. Gently turn the impeller to check if it is jammed, it's ok if there is a little resistance from the magnets but it should turn readily. If the impeller feels like it is grinding or sized you can try to gently remove it from the housing. The impeller is attached to a barrel shaft made of magnetic material that will wear down over time and is replaceable. If everything on the intake end seems normal, we check the output line for clogging or restricted flow. To detach the output line from the main unit simply unscrew the pressure bolt at the base of the output pipe. Open the valve on the output pipe and probe the pipe for clogs using a probe (a bit of wire coat hanger will serve just fine). Gently probe for a soft mass that will feel very different than the plastic. If you do feel a clog simply bend a small hook in the top of your probe and carefully snag and extract the clog.
If after these steps you fail to locate the issue most likely the issue is with the motor and the unit will need replacing.
