I just bought a computer from a german shop and plugged it in and tried to set it up in english but it has not??

Dear carlee, I think you bought the system with windows. As you buy this in germany, the windows is loaded in german language. so it may not be changed from german to English. For this the must easy method is to format your PC and a load a new operating system. in time of loading choose the English and in future you would not face any problem on language as English will become the default language for your system.

We cant change the language from German to English,, How we can change it?

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

The first thing you are going to need to do is to take a look at the manual for the phone in English (if you can't read German.)

Then, you'll need to view an owner's manual in German - to compare the directions. And, third, you'll probably need an online translator to translate German to English.

The link to view the manual in English: http://www.motorola.com/staticfiles/Support/IN-EN/Mobile%20Phones/C118/IN-EN/_Documents/Static%20Files/C118_UG_IN_EN_6802923J10_V1.pdf

The link to view the manual in German: http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/MOTOROLA/C118-_D (Look to the top right of the page in the top of the box - Manual is in German.)

Here's a link for an online translator: http://www.worldlingo.com/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html

The option for language (change) should be in settings.

CHANGE LANGUAGE FROM GERMAN TO ENGLISH

Well, I would think there would be a language selection somewhere. So probably the easiest thing to do would be to go to the main menu of the phone (hopefully that is pretty easy to fine even if you don't know how to read German) and go to an online translator and type in the different options and translate them and just kinda keep looking around and doing that until you find the language settings and switch it to English. Might be kind of tedious, and if there turn out not to be language settings (i would assume there would be though) then might not help at all. But it's the only thing I can think of. Hope that helps.
