Question about JVC Televison & Video
Sounds like to me that the green CRT is going bad possibly. You can take a ruler or something non-metalic and tap the bottom of the crt GENTLY and see if that helps at all....Sometimes the CRT'S get a piece of debris from inside the tube that drops across the plates of the tubes and causes weird issues.... Tapping on the neck of the crt GENTLY vibrates these pieces off and vaporizes them and then picture goes back to normal. If the set is 8 years old and you watch a lot of TV, I have seen the CRT'S actually worn out physically. Then it isn't worth fixing at that point and your best bet would be to purchase a new tv. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to email me back. @ email@example.com Cheers.... HDTV GURU JAY
