Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

My daughter has a cold fill only Indesit so I can tell you without sending my other guidance notes!
1 is for pre-wash (LHS), 2 is main wash (middle and bigger) and you are right with 3; that's for the conditioner.
I would suggest giving the whole detergent dispenser a good clean. Here are my complete, general, pre-typed (!) guidance notes. Note the second way to remove the dispenser in particular---->

Remove the complete drawer. To do this you will have to do one of the following-

  • Top catch- push down the lip/catch at the middle rear and pull the drawer out (that's how our Bosch one is removed)
  • release the catches underneath (our daughter's Indesit) or
  • lift upwards on the tray as it is coming out to clear the lip underneath.
One of these should enable you remove it
(I am having to guess some of the following!)
Once out identify which tray is for the conditioner- the others are simply 'chutes' and open-ended.
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.

If this hasn't helped I suggest you pull the dispenser a little way out, start a main wash and see if water pours into the main wash tray as it should or if it just trickles in. If it does the latter there is a problem with the water inlet valve- I presume it's a cold fill only? This requires a service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

thanks john, i have peeped in the drawer when washing and the water (cold water)seems to be coming out ok and i have cleaned the drawer out a thousand times lol, when i removed the exess power was only the top of the" pile o powder " that was wet dry underneath

    Hi again,
Sorry- it's not clear whether it's working OK or do you still have the problem? The powder shouldn't stick when the water is coming in fast and a lttle furious! It should all be washed into the drum quite easily. Question- are you putting perfectly dry powder in or is it already a bit 'sticky'?

Hi. I have an Indisit Washing Machine IWDC6125 The fault is that the power light does not illuminate. Power to the machine. Thought it was the door latch switch, replace it but. Still have the. Same fault....

Good probability the carbon brushes in the motor will be very low .before initiating a cycle the on board diagnostic runs a quick test on the appliance components .if it detects no circuit over the com ie brushes low it immediately goes into fault mode and won't start

Replace brushes in an indisit washing machine

Remove the rear panel of washer.
Remove belt from motor, unplug lead to motor, remove earth wire.

Undo screws securing motor, and remove motor.
The brushes are located at the opposite end to the motor pulley, you will see a wire going to each brush.

Fault code h20 flashing on indisit wie127 washing machine

H20 is indicating a problem with the incoming water supply to washer.
Check the inlet hose/s for kinks or other restriction, ensure that you have a good pressure to the washer, make sure tap/s are fully turned on.
If all o/k,then could be a problem with the inlet valve/s

Try turning off the machine at the plug for about 10 minutes or until the light on the machine disappears, then try to open the door.
Usually works for me.

Very loud banging noise when spinning

sounds like a balance problem may be when the drum was replaced they didn't fit the new drum in the correct spot the other thing that would cause load banging and excessive vibrations in the machine is if the shockers are worn out,
believe it our not even washing machines have shockers to dampen the movement of the drum spinning
