Hello, can u tell me how to connect the power & LED cables for intel D945GCCR mainboard...please help?

Go to figure 2.7.2.4 Front Panel Header
and there should be a picture. On the power/led cables, it should say HDD LED, PW, etc,
just plug the correct cables into the corresponding pins.

How do i wire-up the: ( eg. power l.e.d., HD led, reset led ect. to the board

The various wires from the case front panel should be labeled to indicate power LED, HD LED, etc.
The motherboard front panel jumper pins should be grouped together and the pins should be labeled to indicate PWR, HD. RST etc.
You can go to the motherboard manufacture's WEB site to download a diagram of your model motherboard and it will show all the locations of the connecting pins.

Two wires fom start button, where do they go.Ones red and white, one blue and wite

Typically, your red/white wire is your H.D.D LED or hard drive light that will hook up to the front panel and allow you to see if your hard drive is "working" or not. It's not needed if you don't have a space for it on your motherboard or if you simply don't want to hook it up.

The blue one is your Reset Switch if you have one of those on your motherboard. Most of the time, this isnt needed either as more and more power switches act as a reset switch in themselves anyway. (Holding it down to actually turn off the power)

If these are you're only two wires, they are no mandatory that you hook these up.

Number codes for giving connections to HDD led,Power led, Reset SW & Power SW to motherboard

Those are really tricky and always vary from motherboard to motherboard.
without the exact model no one will be able to tell you exactly. But I'd recommend that you start out with the power (pw) plug and try trial and error. The only ones really necessary are the pw and reset. the only 2 that are polarity sensitive are the HDD light and pw led.

Emachines t3830 I need the schematic for MB I umployed the wire for the push bottom without looking at the way they were plug. Now I do not know the correct aligning of the push bottom wires.

If you look at the motherboard there is usually a diagram labeled "FRONT PANEL HDR" that will tell you which pins are for: HDD LED, PWR LED, RESET, PWR ON. etc.
The chart / diagram may be a few inches away from front panel header.
the following example is from my emachine T2893 that I had opened because it won't power up.

the motherboard at the header connector labels pin #2 and with that you can figure out the other
pin numbers

example of diagram on motherboard (Confirm the pin numbers on your motherboard)

J9G1 PINS
| HD LED | 1 - 3 |
| PWR LED | 2 - 4 |
| RESET | 5 - 7 |

| PWR ON | 6 - 8 |

Hope this helps you figure which pins to hook you switch up to.

Gigabyte GA-8INXP Motherboard Problem- front connector pins

If the wires from the reset switch is white/blue the blue wire is positive, Hdd red/white red is positive power Green/white Green is positive etc. The wires on the speaker connector will be red/black/black/white - red is positive. The colored wire is always positive. On all GA mb's the positive connection is always towards the back of the MB and are marked with a + on the base of the pin as you can see on the photo. Hope this help.

Install

well those connectors are usually placed in the lower right part of the motherboard. And also there is small writing near those connectors that tell u what to put where ...

U can't do any damage if u put them in the wrong position.... so no worries ....

usually PW - power switch
ReS - reset
SPEAK - speaker
HD - harddisk status led
MSG - message led - that shows u the power is on

But the best thing to do, is to check u;re motherboard user manual !!!!
