Could you please let me know which country do you reside? If you are in India, let me try. I would also need your current location (city). Regards.

Thanks. I guess you have both "Data Account" and "WAP" options. If in case you don't see "Vodafone" or "Hutch" in the list of Data Account's "GPRS", you'll need to rename and edit an existing settings and enter the following entries:

    For GPRS

    APN/Access Point Name:

    • For Pay monthly customers: wap.vodafone.co.uk

    • For Pay as you go customers: pp.vodafone.co.uk

    Username: wap

    Password: wap

    homeopage: http://live.vodafone.com

    Proxy Server address: 212.183.137.012

    Proxy Port Number: 8799

Once everything is done, go to browser Settings or WAP and select the newly created "Profile" and activate it. If you don't see separate options, I hope the above steps would be enough.

If you wish to try the MMS settings also, you can try the following:

    For MMS

    Access Point Name:

    • For Pay monthly customers: wap.vodafone.co.uk

    • For Pay as you go customers: pp.vodafone.co.uk

    Username: wap

    Password: wap

    Home Page: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

    Proxy Server address: 212.183.137.012

    Proxy Port Number: 8799.

Let me know if you need further help.

    Good Luck.

    Thanks for using FixYa.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Please kindly help me to activate my gprs on my sciphone i9+++ phoebe

Hello,

Thank you for using fixya.

You need to contact your network provider for that. They are the one who has access to the GPRS. Some network providers will send you a code to install so that your phone will activate its GPRS and some will activate it by using their database. Call the customer service of the network provider of your cellphone.

I hope this helps.

Let www.sciphonesettings.co.uk take the pain out of configuring your Sciphone/CECT handset to enable GPRS, WAP, MMS and Webmail. You could be surfing the web and sending/receiving multimedia messages within 24 hour.
They supply setting to Austrailia too.

AT&T internet with the Sciphone I9 3G

Okay, I have solved my own problem. For information on setting up the internet for the Sciphone I9 3G go to http://gr8er1.com/shop/page/2?shop_param= They have tutorials on alot for these phones. Check it out for setting up your internet settings for the I9 3G. I would also recommend having an internet plan as this can get expensive if you do not have one. Good luck.
