If its goes out because of movement, then its just loose wire or something. check everything, but start with the simple ones 1s...
sometimes we all tend to think the issue is always a complicated one, then we get mad when we find out at the end that the issue was right in front of us the whole time.

I have an xploid 760 same amp wit ha 800 watt sub. eb=verything should work fin. but the same prob when i turn up the valume the overcurrent kicks on

use a bigger ground wire for amp and protect mode will stop clipping and shutting amp off also make sure power wire and ground wires aren't the same size ground bigger .............if this doesn't help change settings on amp to lower power
easiest way to set amp is (turn the knobs on amp all down turn up your system to the level you listen to normally and then set the amp knobs for bass turn knob slow to set properly but i think the ground needs to be bigger and maybe moved to a new location
hope this helped

Orion 275g4 Hcca amp

this actually could be your amp...try turning the gain down slowly and you will hear the bumping either stop or become morelike music background thanmusic foregroud. i had this problem with an older amplifier and i fixed it by getting a larder power/ground wire size and decreasing the gain a little.

What eq settings do i need

Hello ed4037, If you are blowing fuses this means that you are drawing too much current check your impedance value on your amplifier it should be 8 ohms to match the subwoofer's 8 ohms of impedance. In addition make sure that you have the proper value fuses. In other words you should not be tuning the amp not to blow fuses, because you should be able to go to full amplitude on your amp without blowing anything. As I alluded to this sounds like an impedance mismatch problem. I hope this helps, Thank you, Shuttle83

AMP not workin

if you saw smoke something fried, im surprised it still kicks on at all. my best advice is if you kno how to use a soldering iron, see if you can locate the problem, (i.e. melted wires and such), if not best would be to look for a new amp. hope this helps

Sounds like you may have a shorted switching Transistor in the switch mode power supply causing a short to ground. If you are technical enough. Remove power remove cover and do a continuity test on the transistors on the heatsink. non of them should read zero resistance between the three legs. in all connection configuration you use to hook up your meter. If one or Two or even all of them do you must replace with proper part.
