Blue screen won't boot up

Shut down, unplug from AC, wait 30seconds or so, plug in , reboot. If that fails try a systen restore: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c00814731&lc=en&product=3856269

Corrupt Windows driver. Possibly because of a virus. Re install Windows as an upgrade from the CD/DVD drive.

Cannot start-up computer. keep circulating around dos configuration

First check out where is your systen trying to boot from, be sure that HD is on the list.
Also check in dos config that it recognizes the hard drive you have in your computer.
If it doesn't appear check first the conections of the hard drive.
If its conected, unplugged it and check it in othe computer, see if the other computer works with it, if that works try to connect in diferent ata entrance and reboot. Also try with diferent transfer data cables.
Sorry if i cant post some images, at this moment i dont have any VAIO with me so i can show you where are the cables or the ATA conectors.

Keeps trying to reboot

You need to access the BIOS menu and restore your PC. Sounds like a virus or an incompatable update. I had the same thing happen to my system. OS Vista. You can usually get to BIOS by selecting the F7 or F8 key while rebooting the system or refer to instruction manual for the systen.

How do I restore my dell inspiron 2650 to factory defaults?

If your system is PC Restore Equipped, it will show show a black page with a blue bar across the top after the Dell Splash Screen. the bar will have www.dell.com in White letters. If you see this page for about a second during the boot process, the system is PC Restore Equipped. At the page with the blue bar, press CTRL+F11 and that will initiate the restore process. Providing the image is not damaged, then restore process takes about 20 to 30 minutes and will return the system to out of box configuration. If there are any errors or if the PC Restore page is not available, then you'll have to do a clean install of Windows using the Dell Windows XP CD that came with the system, then load drivers and applications.

How can i restore my computer like it was yesterday?

Start button in task bar > programs > accessories > system tools > system restore. Start systen restore and pick the day and time you wish to turn the clock back to. System restore will reboot the machine in which it will reset the computer to whatever day you chose.
