Question about Frigidaire GLTF2940ES Front Load Washer
Can someone please tell me what error E20 means and how to fix it? It comes up within 10 minutes of the wash cycle. I removed all the clothes from the machine and pressed start. It tries to drain water and will not go past this cycle. If I set the washer to spin only it will drain and spin in that setting, but not when washing. Thanks in advance for any help. Washer will start alarming like the cycle is done, but when I look at the display it reads, E20 and the door won't unlock. I have to unplug the machine and try to fool it into starting another load, then pause/canceling it. I noticed that the fabric softener is still in the compartment. How can I get it up and running again. If something is clogged, how can I get to it? They are stacked with the dryer on top, so it would be extremely difficult getting to it- do not have any help around to move both the machines. I want to get caught up on laundry. HELP!

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I see your question is labeled under Frigidaire washer, ATF6000ES, and your washer is receiving an error code of "E20". "E20" stands for the water is not pumping out fast enough which means it could be an issue with your control panel or drain pump. I would recommend having a professional come out and properly repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hello - The error code "E20" typically means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.
