What part do i need to replace to fix a buzzing noise on a Sanyo DS25390? Thanks, Jason

This tv problems, have 2 possibilities problems.1 the CRT(Tv tube) itself is dead. This u can hear the CRT Video board connection buzzing noises at the CRT-(Tv tube) head. The CRT is dead, also have a little high volt sparks flashing on the video board components too.2 is the FBT-the Flyback Tranformer is dead. This is a highvoltage transformer,a big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to the CRT(Tv tube). This will make buzzing sound at the base of the FBT.If it is the FBT-it is repairable,if u still can find the FBT part for ur tv model. This part the FBT is a critical part for the analog tv to work.Require tools and also know basic soldering too a must.

My t.v won;t turn on just is in standby was working about an hour ago but now nothing can anyone help its a panasonic quintrix

There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If the TV is under warranty, call the manufacturer and they will arrange to have your set repaired at little, or no cost to you.

If the TV is out of warranty, and you have the experience and you know what you're doing, you can fix the unit yourself. Otherwise, if you've never done anything like this type of repair before and you don't know where to start, I suggest speaking with an experienced TV repair-person.

If you take the TV to a repair shop for out of warranty repair, the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

Since some brands will pay for your repair even if you're out of warranty, you should contact the manufacturer for your full range of options.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.

Please post a comment if you need additional assistance so that I can help you further.

We have a tv that once it is turned off you can turn it back on but nothing works, not the remote, front buttons, nothing! the only way to make anything work is to unplug the tv and wait a few minutes then...

Sony KV-27FS210 won't turn on: 5 blinks

If you have little experience of TV repair then take off back cover of Sony Kv-27FS210 and find Screen Control Knob on flyback transformer, turn that knob slightly CW or CCW and turn on TV to get picture. I think you need to turn ON TV few times to get proper adjustement of screen volts.

Above said procedure is for non-tech person.
(Tech person will adjust screen volts (G2) as per procedure mentioned in service manual with proper tools.)

Toshiba 27"

Hi,

Short answer, nope, very reasonable and quick repair.

To be a bit more specific, chances are that the vertical output IC is dead. It's a relatively easy job and even someone with basic electronics knowhow and a little soldering should be able to do it. In some instances, it just might be a case of cold solder.

If your concern has not been corrected after completion of the above procedures, you may need to seek the services of a qualified professional.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FIXYA.

First off, it is impolite to post all in Caps, everyone should know this, it is just internet politeness. That said,You could have a bad solder connection or you overheated a component. If you have no TV repair experience, you are going to need to call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

Won't work

It sounds like something in the high voltage (flyback) circuit failed. If any little thing shorts in these RCA's they will not start up. Stargazer
