Keyboard replace

Forgive me, not advertising for these guys,
http://www.laptopkeyboard.com/Guides.php/Samsung/Q%20Series/Q430/KBSG5
(They say, "A picture is worth a thousand words")
As new as the Samsung Q430 series of Notebook PC's is, there should be only two different types of ZIF connectors on the motherboard, used for the Keyboard Cable. But may be three;
A ZIF connector is a Zero Insertion Force connector. The motherboard connector on a laptop, that the Keyboard Cable goes into, is a style of ZIF connector.
Usually composed of two parts; The bottom part is larger in size, and is Stationary to the motherboard. It is called the BODY.
The upper part is smaller in size, and is Movable. It is the Locking Bar. Uses the wedge principle when in the closed/locked position, to wedge the Keyboard Cable into the Body.
1) The newest style has no Locking Bar to release. The Keyboard Cable is gently, yet firmly, pulled on; and removed from the motherboard connector. To reinstall just line it up as it was originally, then push in.
2) I refer to this as the Flip-Up style;
Closed/Locked,

Open/Unlocked,
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L645D-L640D/big/laptop-disassembly-14.jpg
3) And an older style. I refer to this style as the Slide style;
Closed/Locked;
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L675D-L670D/big-body/dismantle-laptop-10.jpg
Open/Unlocked;
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L675D-L670D/big-body/dismantle-laptop-11.jpg
All you can see are two 'Tab's of the Locking Bar, on each side of the Keyboard Cable.
These Tabs are EASED up with your thumbnails. Ease up on one side a little, then the other side; then both sides.
Moves approximately 2mm. That is a little more than 1/16th of an Inch, or about the width of this capital letter -> O <-
IF,....the Locking Bar is broken, or IF,...the Body is broken; you are looking at MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT, and why I am being so detailed.
Note that other motherboard connectors, may use a ZIF connector of one of the types stated above, also.
Touchpad Cable, etc.
When replacing a Keyboard, line the flat bar terminals strips on the Keyboard Cable, back up to the contact pins in the motherboard connector.
The Keyboard Cable MUST go back in the same position, as it was originally. Therefore look at the old Keyboard, and it's cable; to orient the new Keyboard Cable correctly.

Part 2 Positive Battery Terminal Wire corroded off. Can I just replace the connector? Why is there 3 wire going into the positive connector. cannot find a replacement connector.

OK, we'll start with thesecond question. The reason you have three wires going into the positive connector is because you NEED three of them for everything to work. The largest of the three wires goes to the starter motor. You need this large wire to provide enough power to the starter motor so it can crank the engine. The other wires would burn if you tried to put that much power through them. One of the smaller wires goes to the output terminal from the alternator. Without this one, your alternator would not charge your battery and you would be doing a lot of "pushing" to make your Land Rover move. Then last, but not least, the third wire supplies power to the main fuse block under the hood. Without this wire, nothing in your vehicle would work. This supplies power for your engine controls, your power windows, radio, headlamps, interior lamps. etc. etc. etc...

Now for the FIRST question. Yes, it is common practice to simply cut the old corroded connector off of the battery cables and install a replacement connector. Sometimes this is a little tough because the cables can be a little short to begin with.

Anyway, you want to cut the cables as close as possible to the original connector. Then strip the wire insulation so you have about 1/2 inch of wire exposed. Now here's where things can get bad...if the wire is corroded and green, then you have to cut it back farther until you get wire that is clean. Sometimes, by the time you find good wire inside the insulation, the cables have been cut too short to reach the battery post. There are parts available to remedy these things.
If you do not have to cut too much wire off, you can use a simple bolt-on battery connector. If the cables have to be cut back too much, there are cable "splicers available so you can add some wire to the end of the cable. (See the pictures below)These parts are available at most any parts retailer.

How to replace positive battery cable

Go to online site of autozone, oreillys...etc and you may have to register but they have free online step by step manuals. But depending on your problem you can cut the end off and get a new cable connector from any parts store.

Yes, take the cap off the carb and disconnect the cable then do the oil pump cable. The connector tube should then come apart for upper cable replacement. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Ive got problems with the trotel in my 1973 yamaha rd250 like it is jamed what can i do to fix it

The usual trouble spot is the 1 into 3 connector box. New cables, connector box and cap can be found at Babbit's. Be sure th cable ends are properly seated in the carbs and oil pump as well as in the connector.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part and/or the notation "Not Available" is in the description, the part is not in stock. www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrandand/parts.aspx

I am not able to type. Both the receiver and mouse are working

Depending on the laptop there is a flat cable (or two) under the keyboard (dell posts diagrams of how to remove their keyboards - or at least they used to) and that cable goes into a very delicate connector (this is called a molex cable and connector). If you cannot type at all, not even access the bios etc then take the keyboard out or just lift it very very gently and reseat that cable. The connector has a part that sits on top of the cable that you loosen with your finger and the cable comes right out - NO FORCE on these parts or you buy a new motherboard. Make sure you are grounded when you do this.
