SOURCE: all lights blink but remote wont work

You may need to resync with your console. Take the battery cover off, and open the little door between the eject and reset buttons on the front of your console.

With the machine started and running, press the red button in your wiimote, then quickly press the same color button in the panel on the console.

Good luck!

SOURCE: my nibmer 2 wii remote want work all it does iis blink

The Wii-mote probably just needs to be synchronized to your Wii. Open the battery compartment on the backs of your remotes and open the front SD card slot on your Wii. Push the red SYNC button on the Wii and then the little red button on your Wii-motes (both of them) and they should sync to your Wii.

How do I synce wii remotes

instructions
  1. You will first need to make sure your Wii remotes have batteries. Then, turn on your Wii and go to the Wii menu.

  2. Open the little white door on the front of the Wii game console (this may require using your fingernail). You will notice a little rectangular red button.

  3. Open the battery compartment of your Wii controller, which may require removing the rubber jacket. You will notice a little round red button there.

  4. Press and hold the red button on the Wii game system and the red button on the Wii remote at the same time for at least 2 seconds. I usually hold down the remote button, then press the game console button for 2 seconds because it is easier for me. You will notice the 4 little blue lights on the front of the controller blink many times. The lights will eventually stop blinking and one of the four lights will remain on. The light that remains on tells which number Wii remote you have. The one on the left is number 1. The second from the left is number 2, etc.
***
If you bring your remotes to a friend's house to play, don't forget to sync your remotes back to your Wii console when you get home.

All the best!

Hello there

Hold the Wii Remote upside-down with the buttons facing downward.

Tap the remote firmly against the palm of your hand three times to remove any dust sitting between the buttons and the electronic circuit board inside the remote.

Turn the remote upright and press one of the buttons. If the problem continues, Open your Wii Remote's battery door

Check that your Wii Remote contains two new "AA" batteries or a charged battery pack. Check that no corrosion is present on the battery's metal elements/connectors.

Use a cotton swab to clean the remote's battery element/connectors if corrosion is present.

Check that the Sensor Bar cable is inserted firmly into the back of your Wii gaming system. The Sensor Bar needs to be centered above or below your television so the Wii Remote can transmit signals to the gaming system.

Stand three feet away from the Wii gaming system/Sensor Bar.

Aim the remote and press any button to test the device.

If the remote is not working, stand five to 10 feet away from the gaming system and try the device. The Wii Remote works best three to 10 feet away from the gaming system/Sensor Bar.

Move any objects blocking the signal from the remote to the gaming system/Sensor bar--candles, other remote controls (TV/cable box) and wireless computer devices/cellular phones.

Also, if any sunlight is coming in through a window, close the curtains or blinds to keep the light from interfering with the remote's signal.

Turn off and unplug your Wii gaming system. Leave the unit unplugged for one minute. Plug the gaming system back in.

If the remote still aint working;

Turn the Wii system on. Press and hold the red "SYNC" button for 15 seconds when the "Health and Safety" screen appears on your television. The "SYNC" button is behind the small door on the front of your Wii unit.

Release the "SYNC" button. Remove the battery cover and batteries/battery pack from the back of your Wii Remote.

Press and release the red button located under the battery compartment. The blue lights on the front of the remote will blink

Press and release the "SYNC" button on the front of your Wii gaming system. The "Player" light on the gaming system stops blinking and stays on, the resetting process is complete

My Wii remote blinks blue lights but it won't work with the Wii

Try to resync it. Press the red button behind the SD cover on the front of the Wii and then press the red button behind the battery cover of the remote.

If this doesn't work and other remotes don't work also, the bluetooth module in your Wii is probably faulty. You can replace this yourself (no soldering required) or have this done professionally.

How do i resync my wii controler

follow the steps descrived below:
1.Turn on your Wii console. While on the HOME screen, press any button on the Wii Remote. If the 4 squares on the bottom remain dark, change the batteries (or for a rechargeable Wii Remote, place it on the charger for a while).
2.If the 4 squares blink blue, then stop, your Wii Remote is not synced. Press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time. This should connect your Wii Remote if it's been synced before.
3.If your 4 squares still blink blue, then stop, these last steps will do the trick. First, on the front of the Wii console, just underneath the disc slot, there is a small panel that opens down. Open it and press the small red button.
4.Open the battery panel of your Wii Remote and press the small red button. Replace the battery panel and observe the blinking blue lights. If 3 stop blinking, and 1 remains lit blue, your Wii Remote is synced with your console.

Make sure you have paired both remotes to your Wii console.
Open the little door on the front of the Wii (under the disc slot), and open the battery cover of the Wii remote (but leave the batteries in).

Push the red button on the Wii (next to the SD card slot), then push the red button on the Wii remote (next to the batteries). You should see the Wii remote's lights blink.

Do the same for your other Wii remote.

Now on the bottom row of 4 lights on the Wii remote, one should have the first light lit, and the other should have the second light lit. You should also be able to see a cursor for each remote on the Wii Menu.
