Confirmation of the received message - Google Gmail

While setting up an account you have to give in a e-mail account, to receive security messages. If you entered a wrong or non existing mail address you can't confirm. So open the mail account you gave twitter and look if you received a mail.

What you need to do is contact your local service provider (e.g mine was Mobilicity) and then tell them that you're having trouble receiving a confirmation code from Facebook. They should be able to fix the problem, because I received my confirmation code right after.

(By the way, you can only use your cell phone number once, because you're only supposed to have one account, according to Facebook)

You could also use the calling option, and have Facebook call you to send you the verification code.

DON'T use your home phone number for these options, because if you need to verify your account again, they will automatically text you with the number you gave them and tell you to type in the confirmation code
Step 1Go online to Facebook's Mobile page.
Step 2Type your email address and Facebook password into the corresponding text-fields and click "Login" to sign-in to your Facebook account.
Step 3Scroll down and click "Text a link to my phone." It may take up to five minutes to receive the text message from Facebook.
Step 4Type your Boost Mobile phone number into the text-field and click "Text link to my phone."
Step 5Open the SMS application on your Boost Mobile phone and open the text message sent to you by Facebook. Click the link provided in the text message. This link automatically directs your phone to download the Facebook application. Access the new application by going to your main apps menu and selecting the Facebook icon.

Step 2Type your email address and password into the corresponding text-fields and click "Login" to sign-in to your Facebook account.
Step 3Scroll down and click "Sign Up for Facebook Text Messages."

Step 5Activate your Boost cellular handset, open your SMS application and select the option to create a new SMS.
Step 6Address the SMS to "32665" and type "F" in the message field. Click "Send." Wait a couple of minutes for a reply. The reply contains a confirmation code.
Step 7Type the confirmation code into text-field and click "Confirm."
Step 8Configure your Facebook Mobile settings according to your preferences. For instance, if you want to update your Facebook status with text messages, click the "ON" button bellow "Texts are." If you want to receive text messages of certain friends' status updates, type their name in the text-field beside "Whose status updates should go to my phone." Once you are finished, click "Save Preferences."
Step 9Update your status by typing it into a new text-message and addressing it to "32665."

Now that you have confirmed that the SIM works well the fault is either with the settings or the fact that the file type of the message is not well received into your phone. since messages are received the settings are correct but you can try and confirm if text messages are well recieved and other files have the issue. If so the file type that is send must be rechecked once again.

This is more of the phone being connected to your server. Assuming you are using Windows Server 2003 or 2008 and you are the administrator, do this:

1. Activating MMS
1. Create a new text message which includes text similar to "MMS" or "Set MMS."
2. Send the message to your network provider's phone number. This phone number can be found on your provider's website or in your phone's instruction manual.
3. Turn your phone off and on again once your network provider has sent you a message to confirm that MMS has been activated. It may take up to 24 hours before you receive this confirmation and a further 24 hours before MMS is fully functional.

Tip If you choose On Fax Send or Send & Receive, and scan your fax to send from memory, you can include an image of the first page of the fax on the Fax Sent Confirmation report. Press Setup, press 2, and then press 2 again. Select On from the Image on Fax Send Report menu.
