When i press the power button the phone vibrates the hardware keys light but black display

    Are u sure as the screen is comes on for 4 to 5 hrs and if i lock the device and try to unlock it shows black screen

This inplies that the connection to the screen display has been disconnected. The phone has to be opened up and the connection 4rm d board 2 d phone soldered.

  1. Take your phone and turn it off - just press power button and select "power off".
  2. Wait while your device is shutting down.
  3. Then, press volume down button and power button together until the LG logo appears on the screen.
  4. When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the power button, keep pressing the volume down key and then press once more the power button.
  5. Once you do that, on your LG G2 the factory reset menu will be displayed.
  6. Press power button in order to agree and wait while the hard reset is being completed.

Why is my laptop screen black during startup?


I recommend you to connect an external monitor and check if there is display on it. Press 'Windows' + 'P' on the key board to get display on the external monitor.
I also suggest you to run diagnostics on display. To test the display shut the system down, next press and hold the letter 'D' on the keyboard and press the power button. This will initiate diagnostics on the display. Please check if the colors are displayed across the screen without a problem.

You may also try this step that is shut the system down, remove the battery and disconnect the ac adapter, press and hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds. Now connect only the ac adapter and wait for 30 seconds , press and hold the Fn key on the keyboard and power on the system. This will run diagnostics on the hardware components and also the display.

Master reset with hardware keys A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
If the device menus are frozen or unresponsive, you can master reset using hardware keys. To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

  1. Back up all data on the internal memory. You won't be able to since there is no display.
  2. Turn off the phone.
  3. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up keys simultaneously.
  4. Continue to hold the keys past the T-Mobile splash screen.
  5. Release all keys when the Android system recovery screen appears.
  6. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe data/factory reset.'
  7. Press the Power key to select.
  8. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'Yes -- delete all user data.'
  9. Press the Power key to select. The unpacking Android screen appears, and once complete with the reset, the Android system recovery screen reappears.
  10. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'reboot system now.'
  11. Press the Power key to select. The phone will automatically restart.

Option : Hard Reset Nokia N8 with Hardware Key Button:
If we can not access the menu with screen, or the LCD is not responding, we have to hard reset Nokia N8 with secret button key:
  1. Make sure you understand that all data will be deleted, so do backup as you can
  2. Turn off the Nokia N8
  3. Press the Hardware key together: Volume Down Button + Camera Button + Menu Button
  4. Still continue the no.3 step (do not release), continue with pressing Power Buttonwait until the phone vibrate to start the factory reset Nokia N8 automatically.

you can try doing a a soft-test reset but if that doesn't work then you'll need to repalce the handset.

Power off the phone.
Press and HOLD the volume key (VOL) and the power key at the same time,
(the phone will chirp and display the serial number.)
Now...release ONLY the power key,
(phone will vibrate and make a long tone.)
Now release the volume key,
(the display will have a lot of black boxes and ZZZZ's - you will also see the bottom of the display showing "msg", "bat", etc.)
Count to three and then power off the phone.

Hi.

The code means Ink System Failure. First disconnect power cord to reset the printer and test using different cartridges.

If that does not work try the procedure below:

"Press and hold the "left arrow" key.

Press the "Setup" key and release both keys.

Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"
Press and release the "OK" button

1. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu".
2. Press and release the "OK" button.
3. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status",
4. Press and release the "OK" button.
5. Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear".
6. Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue".
7. Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the "Ink System Failure" screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
8. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
9. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer
10. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER" followed by "PRESS OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.
11. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS". Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.

12. To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use.


NOTE: If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit."

Is it possible to disable the date chip on the ink cartridge? I have a HP8250 Photosmart printer, the yellow ink is outdated and I cannot even print a black and white document! I do not live near any...


Black printer ink in HP Photosmart may fail to be recognized by the printer. Most times an error message will be sent indicating that something is wrong with the black print cartridge. Sometimes the printer may accept to print with the black ink, but the printouts may have horizontal lines and very illegible letters. In such a case a manual cleaning of the print head should be carried out. In doing the manual cleaning, one should spray Windex heavily on paper towel and wipe off the surface of the print head.

The ink system failure message has a chance to be fixed or it may be a permanent issue. It can be pointing toward a firmware failure in the printer and if that is the case the following steps should fix it. Press and hold the ?*? key. Press the ?#? key and release both keys. HTC S710 not booting up and instead vibrating with all lights on


..hm I suppose you installed some new sofware or tried to tune up something in the registry entries, isnt it? First try to unistall the latest software and if it does not help then you have to make a hard reset:

Click Start > Expert > Clear Storage.
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the phone.

or:

Power off your device
Press and hold both softkeys nearest the screen
Press the power button (you should see a black screen confirming this reset)
Release the two soft keys
Press the Green Phone button
Wait untill the clean boot is finished...
