Question about Cameras

Take a look cause it has to be a button that selects how many digits to show after the the point ..it is probably a button that slides from side to side with more than one position ...2 digits...4 digits..and at the max to show all ..it is usually just like the power on and off one . not a digital button but more like a switch ...If the issue is not from there ..it may be damaged..

Also try to see if removing the batteries fix the issue ..cause if it is set to approximate ..it does the same ..so ..if it has an approximating button ..switch it off ..

Press the MODE key repeatedly until you get to the "Fix Sci Norm" screen. Press 1 to select Fix, then press a digit specifying the number of digits after the decimal point, or else press 3 and select one of the Norm modes.

Press SHIFT MODE 6 3 to set the display mode to Fix3. This will show all results with three digits to the right of the decimal point.

No reset needed. To specify the number of digits after the decimal point, press SHIFT MODE 6 and then the desired number. Alternatively, press SHIFT MODE 8 and then 1 or 2 to select "Normal" mode.

Cheer up, the calculator can display UP to 10 digits, no more. Internal memory keeps 12 digits. So clearly, this calculator is not fit to handle the precision you apparently are seeking. It may be time to look for a more capable calculator.

You don't. The calculator can display only ten digits in a number. This number has eleven digits to the left of the decimal point, so the only way the calculator can display the most significant digits is to switch to scientific notation.

Sorry but the calculator does not have a solving routine. You can however use the graphing capabilities of the Casio FX-7400GPLUS to solve an equation f(X)=0.

If you were hoping that this calculator would be able to factorize polynomials for your, sorry my friend it cannot.

- Graph the function Y=f(X)
- Use the trace function to locate the point(s) where the function vanishes (has value Zero)

Followed by a digit key, it probably set the display to fixed decimal notation with the specified number of digits following the decimal point.

No, it didn't magically fix a broken calculator :-)
