Question about Fujitsu 18R1 Air Conditioner

Open Question

We installed the vrf vII series fujitsu aircond. most of our indoor units are sweating. indoor units can be seen having droplets of water on the louver panel. I can hear the sound of the expansion valve clicking even when units are switched off (this would mean the liquid is flowing into the evaporator even while its swithced off) some other units do not have the clickin sound of the expansion valve, but still has water spraying out when it is turned on. the water comes from the evaporator accumulated - wud have the spray sprinkler effect if u stand right infront the unit when it is switched on. do assist. please

SOURCE: Fujitsu AOT30PMAL inverter outdoor unit not working

Sounds like your compressor is seized or a start fault. If the unit is under five years old it should be under warranty. Call Fujitsu warranty out to have a look at it for you.
Contact details as follows

Sorry but either way I think your going to need a part there is very little that I can do unless your in WA.

What does 3 green led flashes in sequence, operation led off mean on Fujitsu ASTA09LCC aircond

This means a "Serial reverse transfer error during the operation"
Diagnosis:
When the indoor unit does not receive the signal for 10 consecutive seconds during the operation
>Permanent stop after 30seconds.
[Diagnosis Point]
Check the indoor /outdoor cable connection (in order). If the cable wiring is not abnormal, measure the voltage of the outdoor
unit terminals and diagnose the defective location.
(Refer to the after mentioned [Serial Signal Diagnosis] for the voltage measuring method and diagnosis method.)

This is generally caused by a faulty controller board in the outdoor unit. Often they are shorted out by geckos or bugs but sometimes a power surge.

I came across a brand new Fujitsu Split System out door unit (AOTR24JCC), so Im look for the indoor unit (ASTA24JCC) Where can I find one? Thanks

Model is over 5 years old so unlikely to get a new one. However, the outdoor units fail while the indoor is good so check eBay or your local installer.

Fujitsu wall mount ac ductless is leaking water from unit. How do i fix it?

This unit - like all A/C units, produces condensatiopn when warm, humid air is passed through the cooling coil. Below the coil is a pan that is designed specifically to catch the condensate (water) droplets, and a drain opening that should have a pipe connected that carries the condensate outside.

You should check outside to make sure the drain pipe is not blocked. Next, check the inside of the indoor portion to make sure there is nothing blocking the drain opening in the pan. It is not unusual for spiders to set up in these cozy areas in the offseason.

You will need to consult the manual (if needed) to learn how to remove the cover for access to the pan. Be sure to unplug the unit / shut off the circuit before beginning any work.

Once you've cleared the line, the condensate should empty outside as it did before. Good luck!

We have a Fujitsu Halcyon wall mounted ductless unit (indoor Unit ASU15RLQ). It was installed in December 2007 and we've done regular cleaning of the washable filters etc. Now it is not cooling. There is...

Hi, first of all, you can get a replacement filter by contacting Fujitsu on (973) 575-0381, (866) 952-8324 toll free and you will be told the nearest Place around you where you can get it from.

Secondly, your AC not cooling might be as a result of a clogged filter, which is not pulling good air flow. If that is not the problem, it could be that the refrigerant is low, coils could be dirty, or a thermostat problem.

But i think the red light signifies that you need a new filter..

Take care

The unit has started sweating cold water droplets on its top and in the last couple of days it has actually frozen.

Several possible problems. Filter clean? As strange as this may sound you may have lost a little refrigerant. If problem persists after filter is cleaned, then a Tech needs to look at it.

System will not start up.

This is a signal fault between the indoor and outdoor first make sure the dip switches are set start with the unit closest to the condensor set as unit 1 then next unit as 2 and so on the dip switches are inside the indoor unit on the pc board if you check the manual it will tell you which swithes to set, if this wasnt done when the units where installed they would have never worked i would also check the signal wiring between the wallmount and the splitter box / bc box and make sure there isnt a loose connection when you have ruled this out id say more than likely it is a faulty indoor board on the wallmounted unt

Fujitsu wall mounted air conditioner.

during Cooling and Dry modes, if the unit is used under conditions of
lower temperature (18C)  the heat-exchanger may freeze, leading to water leakage and other damage.
If the unit is used for long periods under high-humidity conditions, condensation may form on the surface of the indoor
unit, and drip onto the floor or other objects underneath. (About 80% or more)

Increase Temp to 20 and also run coil dry cycle,
