Error badint 0085ddc0

The 'badint' error on the T6100 indicates the printers firmware has for some reason 'crashed', this error should not be seen in normal operation of the printer.
One common cause of "BADINT" messages is the use of an external print server or host computer with incompatible parallel-port settings. If you have an external print server connected to the printer's parallel port there is a setting on the print parallel interface that may need changing, to change parallel interface setting. • Set the printer to Offline. • Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access On) • Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Config. • Press the Forms/1 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Config Paralel. • Press the CPI/2 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Paralel Bi-Dir. • Press the LPI/3 key. • Press any Arrow key until display shows Bi-Dir Off. • Press the Enter key and the interface will be set. • Press the Clear key. • Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access Off) On the external Print Server, you need to ensure that the unit is also set for Uni-directional working.

Printhead Error is displayed and therefore rendering the machine unuasable. Do you have any suggestions for a fix?

Replace with new printhead if the print head is past it's service life. If not past it's service life when you get that error message press the online button and it should print fine.

Deskjet 5550; Windows 7; Microsoft Office 2007; not printing

That is strange
Try changing the default to a different printer (Microsoft XPS Document Writer) see if it prints to it...

Then (If that works) try switching the 5550 back to default.

If that don't do it, uninstall thee printer, reboot and reinstall the printer.

Here are the directions for Tec Color correction. If this doesnt work then replacing the print head is the most likely solution. The TekColor correction options provide simulations of different color devices. Automatic is the default correction for general image processing. Use the following table to determine what option you want to use. TekColor Description Automatic Applies the best color correction to each graphic element: text, artwork, and photographs Office Color sRGB Display: Approximates the colors on a computer display. sRGB Vivid: Produces brighter, more saturated colors than sRGB Display. Press Match SWOP Press: Matches specifications for Web Offset Publications. Euroscale: Matches Fogra glossy paper specification. Commercial: Approximates U.S. commercial press target. SNAP Press: Matches specifications for Newsprint Advertising Production. None Applies no color correction. Use with other color management tools, such as International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles, ColorSync, or the PANTONE Color Chart for the printer. Black & White Converts all colors to shades of gray From the workstation, select the color correction in a supported driver.
