Corrupted Registry

System registry corruption leads to runtime errors and your computer crashes.Windows Registry is very complex and not easy to repair manually. Hence, athird-party Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer software is recommended.

1. Download a Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer software such as Reginout.

Often good registry cleaners include built-in Backup & Restore centre thatlets you recover from an unforeseen situation by simply restoring the state ofyour registry.

Faulty RAM

Your computer freezes due to problemswith the computer memory. A faulty RAM may result in Blue Screen of Death(BSOD).

In such a case, remove the existing RAM and clean it using a soft cloth. Then, connect it again. The problem may not persist..

Don't open too many programs at once because they can slow down your computer, especially if your laptop is already aging. You might also want to scan your computer for viruses coz they are common causes of computer slowdowns.

This sounds like a virus problem ..and you will have to reinstall it ..also can be a case of being used beyond its capabilities ..(Ram memory and CPU too small for the jobs it is used for ..)
But my guess ..specially if it seams very slow comparing with the way it used to work ...it is bugged and needs to be reinstalled

My hydroquip cs6230-u pack on my hot tub shuts off for days and comes back on. None of the circuit breakers pop. The cold weather is coming and I don't want any pipes to freeze. I would also like to u

I do not know this unit so this is only a guess on my part.

I am not sure what you are by it shuts off for days. If it is hot that may also cause it to shut down but for less then an hour. The manual can be found by googling:

hydroquip cs6230-u pack manual

Several of the manuals show up. Be sure CGFI is OK.

This is what I found in the manual. Measure your water temperature it may be OK.

FREEZE PROTECTION - There are two(2) levels of freeze
protection integrated into the system.
1 - SMART WINTER MODE, this mode will activate any time the
temperature falls below 59BF. This mode will be active for a period
of 24-hours. In this mode, if a pump has not been activated in the
last 2 hours, the system will automatically turn it on for 1-minute
to prevent freezing. The "Filter Cycle" indicator will illuminate
while this mode is active.
2 - If the spa water temperature drops below 49BF, the heater &
pump will be activated until the water temperature reaches 50BF.
While freeze protection is active no other functions will be
possible.

Computer keeps 98 cherokee limited from any function.

What OBD Faults Codes show up?

Shutting Down-- is basically a Fail-Safe condition

You only have a couple of them, on any given vehicle,
so you pretty know where to start your testing

How can you make a statement about the vehicles
computer, without test results of the inputs & outputs,
to it?

The problem may have nothing to do with the computer
at all.

Is the battery no good?

Shuts down-- when, where, under what conditions

Do you have no fuel pressure,no spark, have to know that

-----IF----- you have the data stream avail, you can see the Freeze
Frame Data, at the moment it shuts off & even the actual time of day

IMAC SCREEN FREEZES OR GOES BLACK.

same thing happens to me - most of the time it will just randomly freeze; occasionally i get an unresponsive black screen. this 24' aluminum imac usually has startup problems also - sometimes it will "gong" and nothing else; sometimes the apple logo will come up and then nothing else; sometimes it will load the logo and then spin for a few seconds and then freeze - the only option is to manually shut down. there is no rhyme or reason to it

Things in freezer melt and re-freeze

Your condenser fan motor at the compressor is either filthy or needing to be replaced. Air flow is pulled over compressor to keep it at a good operating temp. If the fan cannot pull air across compressor it will over heat and shut down on overload. Imagine working in yard on hot summer day and wearing a dust mask over your mouth and nose. Your body shuts down more needing more rest. Same thing with refrigerators, they have to be able to breathe properly also.

Refrigerator runs almost all day

Your refer will run about 85% of the time, But if your refer items are freezing i would recommend you replace the refer t-stat. The only time your unit will shut down is when it's in a defrost ( about every 8 hours for 30 Min's or less ) and by your t-stat when it reaches temp, if you have it set to a warmer setting and it's freezing you items then for sure you have a bad t-stat. Hope this helps you
