Hi,

This is an indication of start-up problem in the power supply section. This is caused by leaky/dried electrolytic capacitor in that section. It will drop the supply from normal voltage and will disable the unit. It needs a little warm-up to make itself stable but the symptom will get worst. Sometimes it has a bulged/dome at the top but not all, it is better that you have a capacitor checker/tester to determine its condition. Your unit will back to normal again if the leaky capacitor is isolated. If capacitor checker is not available replaced all electrolytic cap in the output of the power supply. Involved working voltage is the 10v/25v/35v, if you found this in that area replaced it all.

Another option is to look for a shop that will repair the power supply board only since the affected parts is the cap only, no need to bring the entire unit, this will saved you some money...

If shop is not available and you can't troubleshoot the board click this link http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=TH-42PZ80U&_sacat=0&_odkw=Proscan+19LA25q&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 for the replacement.

If you don't have necessary tools and test instruments, and can't do the job yourself, I would advice you to look for a professional to troubleshoot the problem. Don't attempt to work in the power supply if you don't know the safety precaution of handling it, there some stored electricity enough to hurt you with a little mistake only.

Also check if your unit is under warranty /extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free. Don't open the back panel, this will void the warranty.

Hope I helped you.

Have a nice day!

Thanks for using Fixya.

Hi! I am experiencing the following three

Hi Rafael,

First of all thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.
Please confirm if the brand and model number above is correct.
Blinking of the the LED (yellow and blue) at the front panel indicating that the lamp door cover is not seated properly. This cover will engaged to a micro switch giving the signal to the processor, once it is in open position, the unit will not power up and will experienced that kind of blinking error code. Go back to the lamp door cover and ensure that it is properly seat-in.
3D, 2D, red/green/blue ghost on the picture and letters means that the convergence circuitry gone bad. Symptoms is not connected to the light engine. The faulty parts is the convergence chips(IC). This chips are mounted on the large aluminum heat sink and starts with STKXXXX-XX (X means number). The most common STK chips used on Projection TV's is the STK392-110. You have to replaced them both on the board to resolve the issue(red ghosting). It is necessary also to check the resistance value of the resistors around its circuitry using the multimeter. For more info how to repair a convergence problem, watch the video below.

Pioneer 65" TV Model # SD-643HD5 won't power up.

I would suggest replacing the board itself, chances are what caused those fuses to blow is still faulty. did you check those fuses again after you powered it back up?

U check the power supply board and it is good and power is on LED light power indication light up.Than only one possibility the tv Tuner signal board is shorted and dead. That the board, where the incomming broadcasting signal cable plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner signal board for the replacement.

Tv won't turn on 4 blinking led

Hi,
Red led blinks 4 times is an error code that shows that fan is not running in tv, check fans connections and make sure all are plugged properly.
Thanks.
