Question about Philips Kala 6523 Cordless Phone
Non registering of the base to the handset means that the frequency is not locking up to the circuits. In most cases the meshing happens automatically. So when the hand set is placed on the cradle of the base it will link together and lock on after the processor hunts out the frequency to inter trans-receive.
You can remove the battery for some time and also the adapter of the base. Notice any signs of moisture on the handset- sweat that have condensed on the handset. if so you need to remove and clean wipe the moisture, use a hair dryer to warm off the moisture.
Now replace the battery and connect the base to park the handset., If this wont lock in now there are errors within the base phone/handset that prevents a lock and will need a good technical probe with signal trace.
Get estimate from Philips and decide.
