Connect the iPod to the PC go to the control panel choose administrative tools, then computer management, there go to Disk Management, there you can see all the HDDs on your computer even the one in the iPod if is connected, find the partition on your iPod there right click and choose delete volume, say yes to all the warnings, BE SURE IS YOUR IPOD and not other HDD on your computer or you will wipe it totally. after you delete the volume on your iPod disconnect it, open iTunes and connect it again
Restore it again but this time don't sync, I mean don't refill your iPod with your apps, music, etc, just do a restore, when ask say yes to delete everything.
Just do the Restore and if you again find out only 7.1GB the iPod is broken, some of the data buses for the flash memory inside broke up, so nothing else can be done but use it like that or replace it.

My 32gb Apple iPad shows it is disabled and I want to know how to fix it ?

You may have entered the wrong passcode too many times. The only way to recover this is to connect it to your PC with iTunes and restore it from a backup. You need to do this from the same computer you used to sync it to.

Hi Mary Grace...
If you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes.
When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod.
Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data."

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I bought 32GB Kingston Datatraveler G3.when plugged in its is detected as a AB usb 2.0 usb device. windows says it needs formatting, (raw format) can not format it even using...

click start control panel administrative tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes

automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start

you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive

I found that you get best results by ticking one box then returning after it has finished then tick the other box

then you restore it to its default status

Right click on usb drive select properties you will have an array of options

Select the hardware option then select your drive properties policies

restore defaults

Right click on your drive select properties then on customize restore Default in W 7

If you need more help with this post a reply

hope this helps

Hello my i phone 3gs 32gb cant start and apple is

  • When did the last time you sync your iPhone to your computer? As a result, iTunes should have backed up all contacts, notes through out that syncing process.
  • Try hard reset, hold power and home button at the same time until Apple logo show up then let go of buttons.
  • If it's still not working, you may need to restore the phone, update to latest firmware available, in this case your phone will be wiped out BUT with the above being said, you should be able to restore from back up you have earlier.
