It should be in the owners manual or repair manuals or you will need to get it from the dealer or parts supplier.

Put the red wire to the ignition on, and white to ignition start, You can place the red wire on the opposite side of the battery on the starter solenoid and the white on the igition terminal on the starter solenoid.

I replaceed spark plug, and still on spark. Whats next? (poulan 4218) chainsaw

Remove the flywheel side cover to expose the flywheel and ignition module. Check the flywheel magnets to ignition module gap with a thin business card for a gauge. If ok, remove the grounding wire that goes to the ignition switch and try for spark again. If still nothing, it's new module time. If removing the grounding wire got it to spark, replace the ignition switch or perhaps the grounding wire has shorted out on it's way to the ignition switch. Hope this helps!

If you unplug your harness from the key switch on the back of the key switch you will see by the terminals letters stamped a S for solenoid a L for lights B for battery G ground and a M for magneto. This will tell you were the loose wires should go. Hope this helped.

I need to rewire and ignition switch for a Murray riding mower, model # 0-40606X8B. What is the wiring?

The switch uses a plug in block so there is no "re-wiring" involved. There is a potential problem if you get the wrong switch. There are several switches with the same terminal patter so it is possible to get a switch which will mount to the new switch but can cause a dead short when you key the switch. Be sure the letters next to each terminal on the switch match on the new switch.

Car wont do anything when key is turned on.

magnetic pellet ,doesn't have one . Besides it's not a magnetic pellet . It would be a resistor pellet for the anti- theft system , which your vehicle does have . And it wouldn't be the ignition lock cylinder either if you can turn the key to the start position . Possibly the electrical part of the ignition switch . Viewing a wiring diagram for power flow and checking with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter would be the proper way to diagnose .Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click electrical distribution ,then under subsystem click on power distribution . Click the search button then the blue links . The light's work because they have seperate power supply ,looking at first diagram you will see this . Thrid diagram down is ignition switch power feed . Top right of the page you will see the letter A , that gets B+ voltage from fusible link B . Finding the ignition switch under the dash on the bottom of the steering column an testing for B+ voltage on the red wire . If B+ voltage is there fusible link is good . Fusible link B is attached at the starter solenoid .B+ stud . If there is B+ power to the ignition switch check for power from the switch .Can you figure that out ? You should also check out some videos on youtube for basic automotive electrical testing .
