Question about Computers & Internet
Either the base unit is turned off or it is located too far from the phone that says it is out of range.
The base unit is the one that has the phone cord connected to it. If the phone situated on the base unit is working, then the problem is just one of location for the phone in question. If you have several of the Uniden phones, you might try relocating the base unit to other locations with a phone wall jack. For example, a frequent problem is that the base unit is on a kitchen table behind a refrigerator which is acting as a shield to the phones' electromagnetic signals. Moving it out from the refrigerators "shadow" might solve your problem.
