Question about Mozilla Firefox
Install the latest flash player from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ if that doesnt solve it run firefox in safe mode , it will be in the mozilla folder in your start menu programs and see if you can play videos then, if you can it is one of your addons that is stopping it ,open firefox normally now and click tools > add ons and disable one at a time till you find the culprit and either leave it disabled or uninstall it
