Hello I am trying to insall the drivers for my Lexmark x1170 on my pc which is running Windows 7 Home Premium. I am unable to find any drivers that will allow me to install and use this printer with windows 7. Is there a way around this or where can i download the drivers?

They recommend using the Vista drivers, which you can get here:

Click on the downloads tab and then the "Change OS" link. Operating system should be Microsoft and version should be Vista 32 or 64 bit, depending on what version of Windows 7 you have.

If you're unsure of what version you have, click the start menu, right click your computer and select properties. It should pop up a page that tells you which version you have.

Hi,

I assume you meant a Lexmark Z735 printer.

This is an older printer, but the printer may work with Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate. You can try to install the driver for Windows Vista, BUT MAKE SURE you install the correct driver for your system. Check to see if you have a 32 bit or 64 bit system and install the appropriate driver. Check this link first:

You should uninstall the current driver first.

Lexmark x5650 all in one won't download application list
Try to download and install the Lexmark X5650 printer driver for Windows 7 from the Lexmark website. First, disconnect your printer from your computer. Then, check if your computer system is running on 32-bit or 64-bit. On your computer, go to Start > right-click on Computer > click on Properties. Take note of the System Type.

Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation. Then try to scan again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Just got a new HP with Windows 7 Home Premium and a new Lexmark x4650. Printer only works intermittently. Have installed and uninstalled the drivers more times than I care to remember...at least 5 times....
This could be a driver issue. Try to uninstall the driver this way, refer to this article: How to Uninstall Lexmark Printers. Reboot pc when prompted. When your computer turns on, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit System Type. Go to Start menu -> right-click on Computer -> Properties. Take note of the System Type.

Execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Please check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Go to Start menu -> right-click on Computer -> Properties. Take note of the System Type.
Now, there's Z601 driver specific for Windows 7, however, the vista drivers work. Download the compatible driver for your operating system using the links below:

LexMark Z25 printer driver for windows &
the driver is not available on the manufacturer website . so if possible activate the virtualisation on the windows 7 and then in the xp mode install the printer drivers in the xp mode since the driver is not available

Hello. You might want to give it a fresh start by properly uninstalling it from your computer. To uninstall the software properly on Windows 7, go to Start Menu > Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. Restart the pc. To reinstall, use this driver from the Lexmark website. Just click on the link: http://bit.ly/atZEM6 . Though it's a 64-bit Vista driver, it's the same driver used on Windows 7. Download and install the software.
