If all else fails, press-and-hold the ON/OFF button, until it shuts itself off.
Then, press (once) the ON/OFF button, to turn it on, and to automatically restart.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

By navigate the hard drive they are simply asking you to browse the local system drive - probably to find the Netflix program folder and move it to the trash or find the netflix system prefs.

Getting large files off mac for use on pc

Here are three ways:
1. If on the same network, create a smb share on the macintosh, map the share on the windows system.
2. Format a usb drive on the macintosh using disk utility as a FAT partition. Copy the files to it. Dismount the drive. Mount the drive on the windows machine.
3. If both have access to the Internet, crete a free 2GB DropBox account. Drop the files in the dropbox and it will be copied to the dropbox on the windows pc.

Where can I plug in a microphone on my PC G4, need it to help in learning a new language?

It depends on which G4 you have. If it's a Quicksilver , there is no Mic in, and you'll need a USB audio adaptor to connect a microphone.
Other G4s, it's on the back, right next to sound out.

I would like to connect an Apple Studio Display 17" to my Macintosh Server G4. Can it be done? What adaptor is needed if any?

Apple Studio Displays connect via DVI cables. The PowerMac G4 (all versions) support both VGA & DVI. You shouldn't need any adaptors. It should just plug into the back.

Pasword

On the os 10.4 install disk, there is a password reset utility that will let you get by it. To boot from the CD, restart the mac and hold down the C key with the cd already in it. It will start, but slowly from the cd. At the menu at the top, pull down the reset password utility.
Good luck, hope this helps

Need User or Owner's Manual for Mac PowerPC G4

Mac help is built into the operating system on your computer. There really aren't any paper manuals for them. Here is a link to Apple's web site that should get you started: http://www.apple.com/support/imac/g4/
