Question about Whirlpool GHW9250M Front Load Washer
The problems you're having stem from the CCU circuit board (inside machine, top, back, plastic case) there are bad solder joints (also called cold solder joints) on the circuit board where the spade connectors and relays (5 of them) are supposed to be securly soldered to the circuit board. The loose joints control the communications between the door lock (code FdL) the Motor control section (code F11) and the main circuit board. The cure is to remove the top of the washer then remove the CCU plastic case with the circuit board, it's easier that way, then remove the board and touch-up those solder points I mentioned. They're easy to spot, they are the biggest solder joints on the board. Remember to mark all the connectors, they are keyed but you should mark them anyway. If you're not up on soldering techniques, just remove the case with board and take it, along with this response, to a good appliance repair shop and they should be able to help you out. Good luck.
