Got a new drum/toner, installed according to directions, but not getting the "replace drum?" or the "accepted" LCD prompt....

ur questions is not really complete, but let me help.

if u are using HL2130/2140 series series:
while the printer on
1. open the front door
2. press the only one button at the printer till all the lights on
3. let go the button
4. close the door
(to test print report- pres the button 3 times)

if u using dcp/mfc series
whilee the printer on
1. open the door
2. press the clear button
3. "replace drum?" press yes---dcp up arrow, mfc button nomber "1"
4. close the door, ready to use

the replace toner sign will appear every +- 12k pages. u dont have to replace the drum with the new one as long as the results is still good

once u perform that and after few pages (below 50pages). it means u need to change the corona wire

I changed the toner out of my x342n and now it wont stop saying "close front door" when the front door is securely closed. has anyone had this problem before?

Please try to reseat the toners and power down the printer for at least 30 seconds.
If this doesn't work, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center.

HP Color LaserJet 8550N control panel message "Out of memory job cleared." How do I free up, or clear the memory?

Power cycle the printer and reprint the job.
If error occurs again, install more memory in the printer.

Is it just one job that causes the error or is it everything that you print
How much memory is in your printer?

If you don't know, print a config page.

Friends, I put a new transfer kit and laser toner cartridge to my HP Color LaserJet 8550n Printer and when I print, the paper go out completely in black. What could happen?

Put the original cartridges and transfer kit back in the printer.
Print to see if it prints ok. If it is ok, insert the cartridges one at a time, printing something after each replacement. Try the transfer belt last.
If all is ok, one of your replacements is bad. Repeat the swap outs as suggested above.

My lamp "paper" blinkikg brother hl-2030

Remove the Toner Drum unit and look for a little blue tab. Slide it back and forth a couple of times to clean a corona wire and see if that helps. If the problem still exists, you may try this 2nd option.

> the front door. There is something wrong with the front door, or the mechanisms that signal that it is closed. Closing the front door (the one that you open to pull out the toner and drum) all the way to where it snaps into place then the paper light flashes red. However closing the front door to the point where the "ready" light comes on (don't snap the door into place, just close it and let it rest in place without snapping it closed) and the printer prints fine, pulls paper from the tray and prints like it should.

So give it a try, don't snap the front door all the way closed to where it snaps closed, just close the door to where it's resting closed to where the ready light comes on and see if this helps you.

Hp 8550n problem printing. Box Message: Incompatible print

These solutions are not helpful and do not address the issue. The error is related to the printer driver settings not a jam in the printer.
