Hardwibe radio is off, how to trun it back on

learn to use a volt meter
at the radio. connector'
and see if power to the radio is good first.
if not work backwards
if is, the radio is bad. (some radios,omg 100,000 models)
have fuses inside the radio too. (or seen at rear of it)
or radio is wired up wrong. as vast are this old.

chances are if it is OEM you have a blown fuse. If after market, sometimes it is an in line fuse, part of the wiring for the installation.It is doubtful that it is the radio but it is possible

It is a blown fuse. The fuse box is located under the hood-I believe it is the no. 6 fuse (15A) There should be an extra fuse attached to the back of the fuse box cover along with the fuse puller. The location of the radio fuse is also shown.

Rather than turning it up ,buy yourself a small 200 watt linier and connect it to your radio.That way if you don't like the way it sounds just take off the box and sell it .Your radio remains the same.

Adjust the squelch until you hear a hissing sound, and trun the knob back slowly until the hissing stops.

you will want to turn your radio volume up till you hear distortion then trun it down slightly. then turn your amp up until you hear distortion then trun you amp down slightly.

it is cooling. leave it alone. the projector need to do this
