SOURCE: dishwasher door leak

Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Also,The latch on many dishwashers is adjustable. If your door is easy to close but difficult to latch, adjust the latch to let the door close more easily. If you can't see any way to adjust the latch, yours may be fixed in a certain position. Check for other reasons for the latching problem.

If the latch has worn out in a way that makes it impossible for you to close the door properly, you probably need to replace the latch.
A Fixya rating would be appreciated if you have found this solution Helpful.

SOURCE: door still leaks after replacing bottom seal

the bottom seal isn't actually a seal, rather it serves as a splashguard. I had the same problem with the same model and started by replacing what I thought was a seal located at the bottom of the door.
Check if the screws on the top half of the pump (located under the lower spray arm which needs removed first) have become loose. The screws were barely in the threads which caused a stream of water towards the door and leaked between the splashguard and bottom edge of the tub and onto the floor.0d084cc.jpg

Our Dishwasher is leaking out the sides bottom sides.

The door of every dishwasher has a compressive rubber seal. When you close the door, it compresses to prevent the water lealking out. Yours has perished and a split is allowing the water to leak out. You just need to write down the model and serial number (for good measure) and contact the makers parts supplier. Buy the new seal and install. If you are not confident to try this yourself, a repairman can be booked to do it for you, but it's not difficult, the seal slides into a guide track (at the top internal centre of the door) - the track continues down to the base of the door, across the base, up the other side and when installing, you simply inch it into the guide around the door perimeter until it joins again at the top.

My refrigerator accumulates moisture that show up in the bottom tray. What can cause that and where could it be coming from? I have checked the filter and it does not show anyleaks

check the door seals,if your getting warm air in the cold compartments it will sweat, and condense and end up in the bottom area of the refrigerator, you can clean the seals with an alcohol bases solution to make them seal better again also clean door area where seal contacts,or the defrost drain pan and drain hose could be leaking

Water is collecting at the base of the dishwasher after the washing cycle

Either the door seal is bad or the seal for the pump is bad or a possible leak of the drain hose (not probable)..

Check the door seal by taping some dry paper right below the door and see if it gets wet BEFORE opening the door.

Leaking dishwasher

HI, i would inspect the door seal. make sure there isn't any foreign objects that are getting stuck in between the door seal and tub housing. if the seal is clear of any objects(small objects), this will confirm door seal failuer.

simply replace the bad door seal in this case.

On this washer  the seal was replaced ?Did it stop leaking after the seal was put in ? Front load hatch on this is in front area located on the bottom(base).Remove the front  to gain access and you can now reach the pump and  look for any blockage. After  you have found and removed the blockage, run the washer again and if any water leaks remain call your local  servicer .You may have a bad front boot (seal) or its just loosened and it need to be re- tightened.Any water leak should be repaired ASAP so you dont have even more damage to the machine and your home.If the repairman cant stop the leak on his first visit than have the Boot replaced on his second visit.

Miele Touchtronic G892 SC Water leak at base of door

check the rubber seal around the door to see if its torn or smashed. if it is replace it, could someone have set somthing heavy on the door while it was open that would have stressed the hinges. it is most likely one of these problems take a nail file and slid it gently between the door and the body of the dishwasher if it slides in easy where it leaks you know the seal is bad and replace it.
