Yes, you can connect them by using a converter box. The converter box takes a VGA input and changes the signal to an HDMI output. Just plug in the appropriate cables on each end and away you go! Some boxes also support additional formats, such as component video. This converter from Lake Technologies appears to be quite popular and fairly well reviewed on Amazon. You might want to shop around a little to find one you like best. Good luck!

1. If your TV will accept a high definition signal from the PC you can connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI adapter.
2. HDMI just allows sound and video to be transferred and to be sync'd with the device connected.

Please help me connect my acer A1-830 to a tv

If your TV has a VGA input, connect a VGA lead from your laptop into your TV. Then audio to your stereo is favourite.
If it has HDMI and your laptop has the same, connect them together, if not check the laptop connector and TV connector and do some shopping for a lead/convertor.

HDMI [High Definition Multimedia Interface]. VGA [Video Graphics Array]. AV [Audio Video]. By these definitions itself talk to you about the inputs your TV have; and it do not support VGA. Output from PC is VGA. Without a VGA input with the TV, you can't connect the PC to TV. I think I'm clear. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Connect my msi all in one computer to tv with vga/svga video cable

Assuming your TV is HDMI input only you'll need a converter.

Once you've installed the converter it will be very easy just plug them together set your TV's input to what ever HDMI port you've plugged in. on your PC desktop rightclick go to properties and enable the second display.

Connect aspire v5-552p to tv

It depends on the ports the computer and the TV have
If both have VGA (blue) use a VGA to VGA cable.
You can also use an S-Video-to-S-Video cable
If both have DVI, use a DVI-toDVI cable.
If both have HDMI use an HDMI-to-HDMI cable.

Other possibilities are combinations of the various modes above VGA-to-DVI, VGA-to-HDMI, VGA-to-S-Video, etc.

How to turn on rgb from lap top to tv.

In order to connect your laptop to your TV using RGB, you need an RGB adapter. RGB is also known as component video; it breaks up a video signal into red, green and blue. laptops do not have RGB outputs. However, many laptops have VGA, DVI or HDMI outputs. An RGB adapter connects the single VGA, DVI, or HDMI cable to an RGB cable, which is actually three different cables tied together. INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Connect either the VGA, DVI or HDMI (in the order of increasing video quality) cable to the VGA, DVI or HDMI port on your laptop, depending on what is available. 2. Connect the other end of the cable to the side of the RGB adapter with the single input. 3. Connect the RGB cables to the red, green and blue ports on the other side of the RGB adapter. 4. Connect the other end of the RGB cables to an available component input on the back of the TV. 5. Tune the TV to the component video input you used through your television's menu. 6. Turn on your laptop. The laptop should now display on your TV screen.
