Question about Philips 60PP9202 60" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I bought this TV used. The owner said the TV quit and took it in to get repaired and told me if I paid the repair cost I could have it. So I did, The TV repairman said it had a short and fixed it. I brought it home and turned it on and the Whites and blacks have a strong green look. I asked the old owner of the TV to come look at it and she said it did not look like that when she used it. Any ideas?
Your CRTs need the coolant changed. Its a common condition in phillips models. You can get the coolant repair kit which contains all the coolant and the instructional cD that does step by step instruction with pictures of the entire replacement procedure
