1st try / keep hold of FN and press the appropiate F key (for example FN and F8 together)

2nd try / There may be a little switch at the front of your laptop, just below the mouse pad and keys.

3rd. try /Click start, control panel, network and internet, and then connect to a network.
Click on the wireless network you are trying to connect to and type any password in (if any password is required)

There should be a Wireless icon next to the time (bottom right hand corner of your screen). Right click it, and press "turn radio on". Or hit Function (blue button lower left) and F2 at the same time.
If neither of the above tips work, right click My Computer, then click Manage. Then Device monitor. Then click the + sign next to Network Adapters. If the wireless symbol has a red sign, then its just disabled: right click and enable. If it's yellow, then you'll need a driver for it which you can find on Dell's website.
Hope this helps!

Wifi for b130

SETTING UP A BROADBAND CONNECTION
First you need to decide what type of broadband andInternet service you require and these are -
1. DSL that uses your existing telephone line.
2. Cable that uses a cable service and can include a cable TV service.
3. A wireless 3G network which uses the mobile/cell phone network and can beseparate or combine with your cell phone account
Note - Combined services generally offer discount pricing and may include amodem/wireless router.

If you use a wireless router with the DSL or Cable Internet service and yourlaptop has a wireless card then you can also connect to the Internet at WiFihot spots like McDonalds, Star Bucks, the Airport etc.
If you use the wireless 3G wireless broadband service, then you can access theInternet anywhere where your ISP has 3G wireless coverage. You need to checkthe service coverage area where you need Internet service.
Once you decide what type of broadband your require, then you need to checkwith the various Internet Service providers to see if they can offer and thecost of the various plans.
Note the download limits and the associated additional costs if you exceed themonthly download limits. Once you sign up with a Internet Service provider, their documentation will include setting up instructions and/or installationCD.

Hi,

First of all make sure that your antivirus software firewall is not blocking it.
I suggest you uninstall all the antivirus softwares your pc has completely first and then restart your pc and see if your laptop recognizes the wireless internet.

let me know the result.
