John usually the cause is that the batteries are getting weaker and need to be checked and replaced if needed The batteries will last about 2-3 years if charged correctly. But you can develop a battery that has become weaker and this affects the other battery as well. So you have to replace both batteries I have seen new batteries last only 3-6 months because of a bad battery New doesn't neccessarily good A tech should perform a load test on your batteries to determine if they need replacing Hope this helps you

Chair stalled suddenly at full charge. Charge lights blink rapidly back and forth. What should I do?

This could be a few things. 1. get the batteries checked, they may say you have a full charge, but when under load, they may drop down to far and fault the controller with a low voltage fault. You could have a bad brake, this can be checked by a tech by plugging in a programmer and checking the fault code. 3. you may have a loose connection and the slightest bump may give you an intermittent power off and fault the chair. Have a Tech look at the chair and see what may be the problem.

Only two red lights show after some traveling.

It takes 5-6 full charges to brake a battery in. The first charge is 90%, then it increases. Also make sure that the caster and anti tilt wheels are free of dirt and any restrictions. Make sure that you don't exceed the weight capacity - most chairs are 300 lbs on a flat, hard surface.

Why do the batteries on my Pride Go chair dies out so quickly after a full charge (ie.,both of the lights on my charger have turned green) I weigh about 210 lbs and I put a back pack that weighs about...

I would check the weight limit on the chair first ,You should be able to see that in your handbook given with the chair.
Second I would see about load testing those battery's ,Go into a auto parts store ,or battery store if in fact you don't own a load tester. make sure both battery's can take a load if not that may be your problem.

Good luck happy to help.

Ilet chair set for 4 month is the battery still good

With power wheelchairs letting the batteries sit for 4 months without charging them leads to early battery death. The lead plates inside the battery sulfate over time and the battery discharges. If the batteries were fairly new (less than 1 year) before they sat for 4 months they can be resurrected and recharged but may not hold a charge very well. Distance traveled will be very reduced. You can try removing the dead batteries from the wheelchair and charge each individually with a 12 volt battery charger set to deep cycle. You will be able to see if the batteries come back up to full charge and do not burn. They cannot be recharged easily or safely inside the equipment and the charger that came with your equipment will not turn on. They should be removed from the wheelchair first. If the batteries take a charge and the PWC runs plan on using your power chair charger on them for at least 12 to 20 hours to bring the charge back up. Test the batteries over a short distance so you don't get stuck far from home. If you don't get very far before the batteries quit, invest in some new ones. Hope this helps.

Constant flashing lights, all three of the red, all of the yellow and one green. The chair was not at a full charge. I traveled approximately 20 feet, then I turned the chair around. Next ,I turned the...

You can visit this website to find answers on what the flashing trouble indicator lights mean: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the page that has the controller used on your power chair/scooter and count how many lights are flashing to diagnose the trouble. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!

Batteries fully charged. When traveling aprox. 300 feet full speed the batery indicator says the chair is out of power and slows to a crawl. after letting it rest for a few minutes the Indicator says...

Has your power chair been sitting unused for a while? It sounds like your batteries have become damaged and are having problems discharging the power smoothly or may not be taking a full charge.
The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacment as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own.
Good luck!
