You need to scan for new hardware and see if recognizes it if not try this
Check if driver for webcam is properly installed. You can check that by going to control panel then click on system then click device manager. The webcam should be listed in the device list if properly installed. Try to press Fn key + Esc key at the same time to enable/disable webcam.

but what i just described there kinda seemed like you did it already. if its a usb webcam. unplug it and plug it back in. also check there website for the drivers. if you did fn and esc and u turned it off then it wont show up in the device manager.

Zoostorm Built In Webcam Problem

Look into the device manager to make sure the cam shows up as Imaging Device. If not go download the drivers for the webcam.
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

My lenovo s100 cant view my webcam..or it not dtected

@joefry_dioce

If you're using Yahoo Messenger or Skype to access your webcam and it says No Camera Detected, the camera might be turned-off. Try the following:

1. Presss Fn+ESC (The Fn key is located at the left side of the space bar). that's the hotkey to turn your Webcam ON and OFF and try to check if your Webcam works.

2. Open Device Manager - press the Windows Key+R and type devmgmt.msc on the keyboard (the windows key looks like this ray_tosh_1.jpg ) and look for Imaging Devices

ray_tosh_22.jpg

3. If you see your webcam there, try to right click on it and Uninstall and restart your computer and check if your webcam works now.

If that still doesn't work and the webcam light is not turning ON, that's already a sign that your webcam is failing and needs to be replaced. If you're still under warranty, you can Call Lenovo Support at 1-877-453-6686 to have it serviced.

Good luck.
