Hello... sorry to hear you are having a problem. There should be a wire on the back of the headunit that is marked "brake". This wire is usually green or pink. You will need to hook the wire marked "brake" together with the black "ground" wire. This should allow the screen to play without the brake being engaged. If this does not work, let me know and I will give you a sequence route to fix the problem.

How do you get dvd player to play? put dvd in and

there is a wire comming off the back of the radio that should be wired to an emergency brake put the emergency brake on and play movie or remove wire from emergency brake and just hook it to a good ground basically all it is is a ground wire that when the ebrake is not engaged it does not make a connection to keep you from using the tv while you are driving because it is ilegal to have the tv playing while ur driving all you need to do to bypass it is find the wire and just ground it to a solid ground if you had an install shop install the radio by law they have to hook it up properly or you can ask them to leave it and you can hook it up they can not hook it up so that the player plays all the time hope it helped

Check to see if your rear wheels will turn freely, as the rear brakes might be stuck against the drum.

Yes that is the way it is you most stop the car before watch the DVD there is a wire that has to be hook it up to the hand brake or emergency brake, this wire will let you watch the DVD when you apply the hand brake.

Screen wont turn on..

Make sure the hand or emergency brake is engaged, but if you just install it you must connect usually the pink wire to the hand or emergency brake. This is for security purpose to watch any video you have to put you car in park.
