Question about Craftsman 42 in. Deck 19.5hp Lawn Tractor
There is generally a clutch for the blades, made with a spring loaded pulley or electrical device. when you move the lever (pulley type) or move the switch (electrical type) it engages the belt which drives the blades. You have a problem there and someone with mechanical skills needs to look at it and repair it. I suspect a spring loaded pulley type, it sounds like someone took the belt off and put it back on wrong. There is no magic button to fix this.
