Most of these issues are caused by drivers in the computer that are not agreeing with the pritner.

I would doubt its something hardware as its prting half.

it also could be a setting.

There are lines in my photos after printing them out

two things can cause this, one you could be running out of ink,two the picture is too large for its low resolution print out.try just printing in 4by6 or 3by5 format and see what you get.good luck. i hope i helped.

Printing

hello,
probably the printer takes his own color-profiles installed by epson.
Click on propriaties of the printer and create your own color-profile for diferent sizes.
you can take the color-profile from a smaler size and save it choosing an other size.
So You also can improove your pictures by changing the color-profile after your needs...
but then you should use the same paper , because different papers give different colors.
you can also improove the colors by choosing-on the profile-another type of paper.

i hope i could help

Printing my own pictures

I use the Epson Print CD software that cam with my printer. If you refer to the numbers in the attached picture I can show you how to select your own pictures to print on CD. 1. Select the "background" icon in the side bar. 2. Choose "select image" 3. Choose "file" & browse to the folder where your pictures are. 4. You can also choose to import the clipboard if you copy an image from another application or choose "twain" to get images from your scanner or camera. In the example I chose the "sunset" picture for my CD. Try the above & let us know how you get on! Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
