Question about Toro The Company Z 42" Recycler Kit 2007+

1 Answer

I have a toro lx426 riding lawn mower. I just replaced the motor and everything works fine but it does not move. I checked the upper and lower drive belts and I think they are on correctly. where can i get a repair manual or how can I verify that the belts are on correctly. Is there a diagram for how these belts get put on

Check this link and click on manuals at the bottom of the page under the Menu "Customer Care."

Hopefully the manual at the least will verify the belt routing (diagram).

How do I get instructions on replacing both upper and lower drive belts on a LX425 Toro Lawn Tractor?

You can go to Toro.com and look at the lower left side for "Homeowner" or "commercial" parts. If you enter your model number you can get an owners manual online. I tried your LX425, but didn't come up. Maybe a different number?

Strange noise from deck of Toro LX426

The engine wont have an impact with the deck because its belt driven. It sure sounds like you have a bad set of spindle bearings, just turning it by hand you wont hear any noise it has to be going fast to hear it. The noise may be coming from your clutch instead of the deck, and it sounds like the deck. Have these things checked out.
