Question about Dell UltraSharp 2001FP 20.1" LCD Monitor
Hi, I have a Dell 2001FP monitor and just ran out of the 3 yr warranty 2 months ago. anyhow, the monitor turns on, green light turns on but nothing shows on screen, not even the selftest screen that used to show at start up. I've called Dell support and they say i need a new monitor. i also have a Dell lap top and a while back it wasn't powering up and Dell support said i might have a burnt mother board, i replaced the power cord and it worked fine (typing on the mentioned compuer lol) so should i trust dell and replaced y monitor or could it be the internal/external power supply or the capacitors as i was reading about on the tread?
Dell support , would recommend you to buy a new monitor because , they donot do any repairs on the LCD monitors., except for exchanging them, if they are in warranty. You can try the following people , they do repairs on dell flat panels
